- Review website contact details - particularly email addresses to make sure they are current. Be sure to test the email links.
- Test your page links and any external site links. Website administrators often shift their pages around so it is important to test that your links are still pointing to the right place rather than a 'page not found'.

- Check company information - be on the look out for dates that might need to be updated in your page content, i.e: number of years in business.
- Test your contact forms - make sure they are working properly and are being directed to the correct person in your business.
- Review your sign up processes for newsletters and email marketing material
Remember that the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 means there are stiff penalties for sending unsolicited commercial emails from New Zealand addresses that don't comply with the law.

- Review your domain record - ensure the contact information is still accurate. You don't want to miss out on any domain name renewal notifications that might lead you to loosing your domain name.

- Review overall content and features of your site
Updating content is a great way of refreshing the site (which is favoured by search engines and users). Perhaps the site needs a more extensive overall to improve the overall look and functionality.
- Review the performance of your site - is it achieving the goals you had for it when you first set it up?
What is it you want site visitors to do when they visit your site? Call you, email, sign up for a newsletter or place an order. Whichever outcome you want, make sure your site directs your visitors towards this outcome by having a clear call to action.
